It was all there. Laid out.

The flutter of his heart every time she was in the room. The way he couldn’t concentrate fully on anything but her if she was too close. The jealous feeling that swelled in him whenever she was paired with Greg…if they laughed together or shared a moment. How he missed them being friends like that. The nightly replaying of moments they shared. The fear of losing her…to death, to boredom, to Greg. And how he longed for the time before Vegas, the easy times between them.
It was all there, staring him in the face. It was all pointing to the same conclusion. And he was a strong believer in the office motto: The Evidence Never Lies. Therefore it had it be truth.

He, Gil Grissom, was in love. With Sara Sidle.
