South Winnipeg Garden Club
						Meetings are held in the Staff Lounge at Vincent Massey Collegiate, 975 Dowker Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3T 3A2, the second Tuesday of the month, from October to April inclusive.  Doors open at 7:00pm and while the meeting will begin at 7:30pm.  Admission is free for members and $2.00 for visitors.  Come out and have a cup of coffee with us and learn about gardening with some of Winnipeg's best gardeners.
		This year marks the eighty-third year of our club, the Fort Garry Horticultural Society.  We have a long History of promoting horticulture in the city, but the club has gone through some changes and it's time to reflect those changes with a less intimidating, friendlier, and all encompassing name, "South Winnipeg Garden Club".  We will be introducing the new name over a period of time.

			Our goals remain the same . . . To provide a forum where garden problems can be discussed, and where beautifying the landscape remains a priority, all while improving our green thumb skills.
			Garden lots are available for members to rent.  Lots are 50' x 50' or 50' x 25'.  Yearly membership fee - $7;  Garden rentals - $28 and $14.
