The People: What can I say, I had supper with the Mayor and breakfast with the Doctor. The fact that there was nowhere else to eat, and they were the only people in town is beside the point.
Accommodation: The only hotel shut down the day I got there, so unless you have a tent … enjoy the bugs! Jerry might be able to hook you up with a condo for a couple of nights or you could buy a decent sized house for about $10k .
Entertainment: If you’re into hunting, fishing, or hiking, this place is heaven. Other than that there’s the bar run by the only gay Eskimo. The scenery is great and the wildlife is a plenty.
Getting There: Like anywhere, you could fly, but unless you have your own plane or are willing to shell out some serious $$$, there are no regularly scheduled flights. So that leaves driving as the only option. Like the lady at the insurance place told me after I lost control of my Jeep and almost careened into a canyon, "Unless you own a tank, don’t use your own vehicle on that road". - Two hours of gravel, "Yee, and might I add, Haw"
