4th ANNUAL OHIYO WILDERNESS RESCUE CAMP
NOV. 11-13, 2005 @ TSR

Hello Fellow Scouters,

Thank you all for helping to make the Ohiyo Wilderness Rescue Camp such a success. Your commitment to your youth and to your own development as leaders is to be applauded and we look forward to hearing about all your wilderness exploits.

As usual there were things that could have been improved upon and just in talking to groups we have been given some great ideas. Thanks to Cavagnal, for instance, for their suggestion that we allow time after each scenario for groups to debrief with the spotter and victims. This would give immediate feedback and eliminate the need for a long debriefing session in the evening. The latter could then be turned into a very quick summary of observations made during the day and maybe a quick playback of how the scenario should have gone!

I am sure all of you have equally good ideas on how we could improve, comments about the camp, the realism of the scenarios etc. You will also by now have had time to have your weekly meeting and discuss the camp with your youth. We would love your feedback. Please go to the link below. We would really appreciate your taking the time to give it some thought, fill it in and it will be sent back to me and my fellow partner in crime, Bob Cox.
Please copy this message to others in your group.
