What Art Design Gifts Is
ArtDesignGifts is our concept of creating truely unique personalized gifts for individuals and businesses through designing art gifts that include photos, facts, events, dates, graphic design images and names directly related to the individual, customizing the items in such a way, they are one-of-a-kind, and as up close and personal as we are able to make them.
We use computer graphic art design, along with digital photography art and painting to produce artworks within the gifts that accentuate the personality and traits of that particular recipient. We strive for a "uniqueness" through personalization that steers clear of mass-produced duplicated gift items found elsewhere. We incorporate the individual's/corporation's personality, characteristics, theme, preferences, interests, and make-up into the gift created for them, to which there is no duplicate. We offer our gifts through our storefront, hospitals, corporations, schools, retail outlets, trade shows, organizations, partnering businesses, home party events, catalogs, and direct mailings. We anticipate being live online with our e-commerce storefront ArtDesignGifts.com this fall of 2005.
Where Art Design Gifts Is Located
ArtDesignGifts home office is located in Georgetown, north west of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania USA in the tri-state area. We presently have one retail storefront servicing the Mid-West and North East regions. Our state and federally licensed and insured company is registered as Art Design Gifts by MJ Peters. We are in the process of providing our presence on-line as well, with having purchased our domain in April, presently designing ArtDesignGifts.com e-commerce website to open September 2005.
When Art Design Gifts Was Established
Art Design Gifts was established in January of 2005, as a by-product of MJs DZinz entity. MJs DZinz has been designing graphic artworks, logos, and business identities as out-sourced freelance projects for other business owners and individuals since 2003. As opportunities and demand for my original photo and graphic art designs increased, it became time to expand as my own company, thus, Art Design Gifts began.
Why Art Design Gifts Was Created
As a previous graphic art design hobbiest, beginning from Ulead's Photo Impact 4.2, through Corel and Adobe's software programs, lessons, tutorials and classes, I have enjoyed creating my own originally designed, unique personalized photo art gifts for friends and family. As my designing improved, I was able to gain employment within the graphic logo design area for an extreme sportswear apparel company, while continuing to handcraft original personalized gifts for every occasion possible. As money was saved and applied to upgrading my computer hardware, software, and peripherals, I continued to expand the variety of gifts I was able to design and create. During this time, I checked out what other vendor's "personalized gifts" consisted of, and found that while they were personalized, I felt the personalization depth could be taken steps further to offer more specialized custom-design gifts uncommon in the personalized relm. I began acquiring a wider variety of gift-making equipment and tools, with the notion that if I could make professional quality gifts consistantly that the general public had begun requesting; this may be just the type career I could enjoy working through post-retirement years. Art Design Gifts main purpose is to offer its "outside the box" concept of unique personalized photo art design gifts, to those seeking gifts that are not found elsewhere, in the personally detailed depth we design them. We strive to remain unique in our personalized gift ideas.
Who Is Art design Gifts?
Allow me to introduce myself. I am Marcia Jo Peters, aka MJ; owner of Art Design Gifts by MJ Peters, and artdesigngifts.com. I have nine years of varying levels of graphic art design experience. My education and employment background also includes marketing, merchandising, accounting, Financial Comptroller, and Special Education. I enjoy many handcrafting hobbies, and now have incorporated many of those hobbies into a gift idea line, adding personalization and customized made-to-order uniqueness to each and every item. I consistantly learn, create and develope new items and techniques in handcrafted gifts. I enjoy sharing my hobbies and ideas with others interested in coming up with their own specialized gifts, and those who desire to give uniquely created gifts to those on their lists.
How Art Design Gifts Is Unique
We want to inspire those whom have interest, desire, tools, and creativity to create their own personalized gifts, by providing resources, information, and examples in addition to available merchandise we offer. We hope to assist other's creative talents and possibilities to blossom. We do not look at providing resources to who may become potential competitors or do-it-yourselfers within this area, as threats to our line of business, but, rather marvelous expansion in Creative Arts.
Another area we feel unique to our gift line is the variety and depth our customers can pick, choose, design and develope the final gift. We offer several grade and quality materials for their spending preferences. We inform them as to the pro and con qualities of paper, ink, fabric, printers, laminants, etc., and level of labor involved in their chosen items, as to allow them to retain total control of the gift they choose. They can chose prints on #20 stock, #110, or their preference in between. They may choose laser, or ink jet printing. They may desire to assemble final gift from parts they have us craft for them. We do what the customer wants us to do as the customer wants it done, not how we choose the gift to be pre-made for them. We take customization preferences personally!
