-Oracle of Seasons walkthrough- Part 1, Getting the Wooden sword, and making your way to the first dungeon- When you first start out your Oracle of Seasons game you will be at a dancing party with Din and some others. Din will ask you to dance and you will accept it. After the little cut scene of Onix and his entrance, you will be summened to start your quest by Impa, the caretaker of Zelda. Your quest then officially begins. The first thing you must do is go directly south to Horon Village. From Horon Village, you go east to the Maku Tree, where Impa told you to go. You will find out that there is a big wooden gate blocking the entrance, so you are stuck. Retreat back to the village, where you then go west until fully out of the village area. You will see some landscape filled with enemies. Do not worry about them for now, as you cannot harm them and they won't harm you either. Keep following the path until you find an entrance to a cave nearby. Enter the cave, and you will notice a block, push the block so that the doors will open. You will then be entered into a maze (I think). Find your way through the maze, until you reach a room with a treasure chest in it. Run up to the chest, open it, and you will recieve the Wooden Sword. After you've received the sword make your way back to the Maku Tree. When you see the gate, slash it until it falls. You will then be aloud to enter the Maku Tree vicinity. When you first meet the Maku Tree, you will notice that he is sleeping. To awake him, you must slimply slash with your sword again. After a few tries, he will awake and you can talk to him. After you are done talking with the tree, he will ask you to take the Gnarled Root Key, and make your way to the Gnarled Root Dungeon. After you've received the key make your way to Impa, and talk to her, she will say that she say a Gnarled Root up the path. Follow the path up, until you see a bridge, cut the grass and walk across the bridge. Sure enough there is a Gnarled Root, with a keyhole beside it. Insert the key, and you will be able to enter the first dungeon. Part 2, The Gnarled Root Dungeon- Step 1, The dungeon- When you enter the Gnarled Root Dungeon, you will be in a big room, with a ton of statues. Walk through the room to the second room. You will see four blocks, push the second block to your right, which will open a door for you. Enter the door. There will be a few enemies in the room, defeat them with your sword, and a chest will appear. Open the chest and receive a key. Leave the room, and return to the same room as you were in before. Open the locked door now, defeat all the enemies in that room, and yet another chest will appear with a map for you. Go through the next door, and kill all the enemies in that room. You will see a train, hop on to the train, and go for a spin. The train will take you to a new room. In that room, there are some moblins, defeat the moblins, and go up the stairs in that room. Up on the second level, there will be a swith, hit the switch, causing the train tracks to switch around. Also open the chest up there to obtain a compass. Go back down the stairs, and push the center block in the room. Go through the newly opened door. Push the blocks around until you get through the maze. There will be a treasure chest holding a Gasha Seed. Once you've gotten the Gasha Seed, go back through the door you just came in. Hop back on to the train. The train will drop you off by some stairs. Before you head up the stairs, go back to that chest you passed. Open the chest and obtain the bombs. Go back to the stairs, and climb them. To your right there should be another set of stairs. Go down them, and follow the path which will lead you to a dead end. Press the switch there, and get the key. Move back to where you started form by the first set of stairs. Bomb the crack in the wall up above. Find yourself through the maze, until you see a door. Open the door and enter the mini boss room. Step 2, The mini boss- The mini bosses are very easy. They are tow moblins who through a boomerang at eachother. To defeat them slash at ONE of them many, while trying to dodge the boomerang. The key is to only hit one, because after one is dead the other one will die too. After you've slashed him a few times, you will win. Step 3, The second part of the dungeon- After you've defeated the moblins, get the fairy aroun there. Go to the door on the left. Push the far block in the room, which will let you descend down the stairs. You will climb down to a dungeon type place, and at the bottom there will be an invisible path. Go across the invisible path until you see another latter. Climb up the latter and the walk across another invisible path until you reach the item there. Obtain the Ember Seeds. Exit the dungeon type place, and go back to the mini boss room, where you should see some red smoke in the center. Walk over the smoke, which will warp you to the beginning of the dungeon. Go through the room to the left. Light the two torches, with your new ember seeds. Go through the room, and defeat the baddies. A chest will appear, with the boss key. Exit that room, and go back to the very first room you were ever in. Light the torches, and enter the door. Go get the chest over to the left of you, while being careful for the floormasters. Find your way through the paths until you see a door. Obtain full health before you enter because you are about to fight the boos of the dungeon, Aquamentus. Step 4, The boss- For help defeating the boss please visit our boss guide. After you've defeated the boss, obtain the heart piece, and enter the door to your right. You will be in a room, where you will get the first essence! Side Quests of Part 1- :: Plant the Gasha seed at the Mayor's
house in Horon village. Part 2, Making your way to Subrosia, Getting the Rod of Seasons- Step 1, Finding Subrosia- After you've exited the first dungeon head back down to Horon Village. At Horon Village, head down east to the farthest corner. You should see two bushes, and a guy beside them. The guy (I think) comes to talk to you telling you to get the Rod of Seasons. Burn down the two bushes with your new ember seeds, which will allow you ro head to the eastern suburbs. Once in that area you will be some little hills. Go north form there, which will take you to the Woods of Winter. Go east again a little, and then a tiny bit north, which will lead you to a batch of trees. You will notice a figure screaming, "I have to get back in secret". It is a Subrosian, and he/she is the key to getting to subrosia. Follow the Subrosian, but do not let him/her see you. That is important. To do this, follow him, but hide behind the trees, when he gets close to you. Make sure he never makes eye contact. If you do this right, he/she will lead you to a tiny patch of grass, where he will then transport himself to Subrosia. Do the same thing he does, by cutting down all the grass, then walking over the little blue swirl thing. The transporter will then take you to Subrosia. Step 2, Getting the Rod of Seasons- As soon of you've been transported, you
will see yourself in some rocky terrain. Go down the
stairs infront of you. Then you will see two sets of
stairs. Go down the first set and then west. Keep
following that path until you get to some hotsprings,
then go north. Enter the stairs at the end of the path.
The stairs will take you to the Subrosian dance place. Step 3, Getting your first season- Exit the temple, but in the courtyards, at the very bottom turn east. You should sea a door with a blue roof on top. Go into that room. Once in the room, hit the switch with your new boomerang, to let a path come down so you can cross. Then go up the stairs. Follow down the pathway to another set of stairs. Then move up north until you see a statue qith a fairy. She will then give you your first season winter. After you've received the winter season, exit the room, and return to the entrance of Subrosia. Part 3, Getting the shovel, finding the next dungeon- Step 1, Finding the shovel Once you've exited Subrosia go east back into the Woods of Winter. Hop onto the stump that you see, with your Rod of Seasons at hand. Swing the Rod changing the season to winter, which will then freeze the pond beside you. Walk across the pond and then head up north. Go to the very top and then head east until you see some enemies. Keep going east until you see a stump. Change the season to winter. Then go up the stairs ahead of you. Move a cross the pile of snow until you are on to the roof of the house underneath you. Hop into the chimney. Talk to the girl inside the house, she will give you the shovel. Step 2, Finding Snake's Remains Now go down south Keep moving down that path until you see a pond. Follow along the outlining path until you see a stump. Change the season to witer now, which will wither the trees so you can move ahead. Go around the trees and then head a slight bit west. Head north now until you see a big pile of snow. Take out your shovel and dig through the snow so you can go east. Head east and you'll see a tree with an owl beside it. Pick the seeds up of the tree and then head north, ignoring the owl. Defeat the moblin if you want, and then head west a bit. Youshould see a little cave with grass around it. Cut the grass down then enter Snake's Remains. Part 4, Coming soon!!!
