Les Chatelaines
Les Chatelaines are from Chateauguay Skating Club located just outside of Montreal, Quebec, and are celebrating their 25th Anniversary this season. The team was the first synchronized skating organization in Quebec and the Chateauguay Skating Club hosted the first ever provincial synchronized championships. Les Chatelaines are proud to be named the first Festival Eastern Champions in the first Festival Competition held in 2001, winning the gold medal that year and the silver medal the year after. Coach Sylvie Allard has been coaching synchronized skating for 22 years and has spent 16 of those with the Chatelaines. She was part of the original Chatelaines team formed in the 1977-1978 season and has been an integral part of the teams spirit and success.
