Shot A : Base map, (unprojected lat/long), centered on Dow's Lake, Ottawa, Canada, 1999. Each green point represents an apartment building, whose locations were geo-coded from a Street-Network File using MapInfo. The apartment building layer is the "active" ArcView theme.
Shot B : User has selected a number of buildings in the Bronson/Carling neighbourhood for which they need the average rent of 2-bedroom apartments. Unbeknownst to them, they've selected less than 10 buildings, the minimum number needed to provide a statistically reliable sample in that particular survey zone.
Shot C : User presses button launching Avenue script, is then asked to select choice of apartment type from drop-down box.
Shot D : In this particular case, execution of script finds that insufficient number of selections were made by user; error message issued.
Shot E : User re-makes selection in same neighbourhood to include at least 10 buildings from active theme (a slightly bigger "rubber box" is all that's needed).
Shot F : User presses button again, script execution finds no errors, user receives correct results.
