Summer Meadow Fibre BlendBack to The Knitting Girl's Fibre Gallery There was an undeveloped lot across the road from where I used to live. It was full of long grass and wildflowers, grasshoppers and butterflies. A scraggly old tree grew from a lumpy hillock, and under the tree there was a hollow just big enough for me and my dog. It was a place where ancient magic still lived, a place where our world touched the ones I read about. It was Narnia, and Perelandra, and Middle Earth. It's not there any more. Someone built a house on it. But I like to think there are still magic places in our world. Unknown fibres |
