Blackout of 2003 Fibre BlendBack to The Knitting Girl's Fibre Gallery The blackout was actually kind of nice. People seemed nicer than usual. People all up and down my street were sitting on their porches, talking to one another. I chose a soft, black yarn for the sense of community and the quiet night, white for the stars that had not been visible from the streets of Toronto in over 80 years, and warm, golden yellow for the candlelight.
