Lake Huron has sandbars like none of the other Great Lakes. When the waves move from the deep water across a sandbar, they are ruffled with whitecaps. This blend has dark blue for the deep water, turquoise for the water over the sandbars, shiny threads of white for the whitecaps and boucle blue for the smaller surface ripples caused by the wind.
