iQue Launcher with Macros - download version 1.06b1 (New: automatically make a menu from your waypoints)
Many applications are difficult to use in the car, besides being quite dangerous. There are some functions on the iQue that require stylus entry. In comparison, automotive GPS units be easily navigated and controlled with simple controls.
FastFinger is a launcher with macro capabilities. It allows you to control the iQue using hard button presses and large screen buttons. With two finger taps, you can route to home, find the nearest gas station, set a detour, or perform any number of functions.

What's New?
Feb 25 2005 - Version 1.06b1
New in this release: Make "route to" menus automatically from your waypoints. This is accomplished by adding a command to your Fastfinger menu.
Installation:
- Check your version first! Check it by tapping the menu icon from the toolbar and choosing "About Fastfinger". Failure to follow these installation instructions may cause a soft reset
- Select "Upgrade/Remove" from the menu. Install as usual.
- Install Garmin API Library. Without this library, the waypoints will still show up, but routing is not available. Warning: some people have reported problems with Garmin's API Library, which can be uninstalled with a hard reset. That won't be my fault, blame Garmin!
Instructions: Include the following command in your menu. (See example below)
wptCat=categoryName[,skip]
- neither "WptCat" nor category name is case sensitive
- skip is optional, represents the number of waypoints to skip. This is helpful when building multiple waypoint pages.
- "WptCat" can be added after other menu entries. The waypoints will simply fill the available empty buttons.
- Will not show records "hidden" by WayQue
- Private records will be displayed
This is an example only. Change before using!
Assumes you have three FF pages already configured.
Assumes you have a "Home Page" macro that switches to the first FF page.
