| Glen Stewart Park shall be a non-profit making organization, made up of all volunteers elected from the community whose objective and purpose will be to promote and develop all phases of recreation for all age groups. |
| Glen Stewart Park was organized in
July 1964, our meetings where held in our homes or Waverly St. Public School. Every
Thursday night we worked at the Red Barn Bingo along with Sunnyside Park to make money for
our Park Association to build a clubhouse. In 1971 construction was started to build our clubhouse and was completed in December 1972. Our first function was on December 1972 Celebrating New Years. We have been a very active park in our community since our founding, and some of the founding members are still involved. |
| Glen Stewart Boundaries are the west side of Stevenson Rd to the Oshawa, Whitby Line and from the south side of King St. to the CPR rail tracks. This area takes in approximately 1400 homes. |
| Come and join our Monthly Meeting and share your thoughts and ideas with us. We meet the third Sunday of each month at 7:30 PM except June, July and August. |
