Sir Echos Lancelot - 2001 grey (black base coat) Straight "Old" Egyptian, Al Khamsa, Sheykh Obeyd, Babson/Sirecho stallion. He is also Asil, Blue List and Pyramid Society eligible. Lancelot is a second generation Dahman Shahwan. We
would like to thank Robin Weeks for selling Lancelot to us. He is rare in that his sire, Matara Shakeer, may be lost to Babson/Sirecho breeding and his dam, Nefer Tiye, has only 2 other Sheykh Obeyd get - Serra Sirecho (Matara Shakeer X Nefer Tiye)(full sister) and the Straight Babson mare Serra Sereneh (Ahmed Serrfaddan X Nefer Tiye) Lancelot and his full sister, Serra Sirecho are the only
Matara Shakeer Babson/Sirecho get. Though they do have a Sheykh Obeyd half-sibling sired by Matara Shakeer, Dahma Shakeera - 1999 grey Babson / Sirecho / Halima mare.
Lancelot is an extremely sweet, very easy to handle boy who has excellent
conformation, and extreme type.
Lancelot has excellent conformation, extreme Arabian type, beautiful powerful reaching trot as well as a good temperament. He is just starting to prove himself in the breeding shed with 2 gorgeous peas in a pod fillies on the ground in 2007. I am looking forward to the rest of his foals over the years. Lancelot is starting his saddle training this year and I am waiting for the time, when I have enough time, to ride him in Endurance rides. It would also be great to show him in Trail and Sport Horse classes. I also feel he would have done well in Halter classes before he gained weight and got his cresty neck. LOL! But the babies will have to be the ones to do that for him!
