MON----- The “MON” commands are those that are currently (or have been) located in the PFZ (Permanent Function Zone).  Next entries show the specific items.
MONAXE AXS- change the current axis
MONBRG BR- buffer regenerate the screen
MONELE ID- find out the identity of an element.  Like selecting on the left side of the ID command.  Cycles through the elements and displays their names.
MONGS ST- accesses the Standard panel
MONKEY KEY- (FILE+KEYBOARD)
MONLAY L=XXX    (LAYER+CHANGE)
MONLST Displays pop-up NHR, HLR, HDR, SHD
MONNAM ID-like selecting the right side on the ID command, /monnamallows you to change an element name (IDENTIFY+RENAME+DISPLAY)
MONNP NP- No Pick
MONNS NS- No Show
MONROT RT- Rotate. Select a line to rotate around, indicate a direction, then key an angle.  This command works even if FLAT WINDOW is on
MONS3D 2D/3D- toggles between 2D and 3D modes.
MONSCR SC- allows the recal of stored screens (IMAGE+SCREEN+RECALL)
MONSDR SP/DR- toggles between SPACE and DRAW mode.
MONSET SET – identical to selecting the left side of the SET command like SET+CHANGE
MONV2D VU- change the current draw view identical to VU+CHANGE
MONWIN WI- allows recall of a stored window (IMAGE+WINDOW+RECALL)

RECOV(ERY) enables user-defined return-to point when using session. When you use MODEL+SWAP you change which model is active.  If you have made changes to the active model CATIA allows you to automatically FILE+WRITE the active model before it is changed.  To accomplish this/recovery must be ON.  When you type in /recovery you must specify what CATIA file you want the model written into.  It should be a file where you have write permission.
REF(RAME) Reframes the image on the screen  (IMAGE+WINDOW+MODIFY+PLANE+REFRAME) If you have more than one window you must indicate which window to reframe.

SAVE FILE+Write + Current
SAVEAS Writes the current session with the same name.  The “SaveSession Options” pop-up shows the available choices.
SAVESAS Write the current session with a new name.
SESC(OM) Comment panel for the SESSION.  Like FILE+COMMENT, but a little different.  FILE+COMMENT takes you to the comment page of the active model, /sescom takes you to a comment panel that goes with the session.
SESSL opens new file [CAUTION:] without confirming
SET(UP) Brings up a very useful pop-up Setup panel that allows for modification of cursor size selection sensitivity cursor type selection mode
SH(OW) highlights everything in ACTIVE model.
SK(ETCH) invokes the dynamic SKETCHer function
SOLPAR This will create the parameters corresponding to the solid primitive.  (Like SOLIDE/M+ANALYZE+SELF+PARM).  /solpar works on a ditto within a solid (macro ditto).  If you try to use ANALYZE+SELF+PARMon a macro ditto,  the message is “PRIMITIVE CAN’T BE ANALYZED”.
SOLPATT establishes pattern for multi-use primitives
SOLS(IZE) KEY SOL SIZE LIM(KB) will define a size limit to describe a solid.  When the size is reached the message “MAXIMUM SIZE OF SOLIDREACHED” is displayed.  For example type in /solsize and the system will prompt you for a size limit.  Type in 800 and when the solid becomes larger than 800KB the message will display.  Note: This is not the ERASE+PACK values (size of the model) but the SOLIDM/E+ANALYZE+SELF+NUMERICvalues (size of the solid).
SP(ECDEF) Add public specifications
STCOLD change standard color in draw mode
STCOLS change standard color in space mode
STR(ETCH) Takes you to a quick profile modification mode.  You can stretch draw element,  coplanar space elements, or planar profile of a solid.  You can key in new values for angles, radii, or lengths. Surpassed by the new Sketcher tool.
