The community and the City of Belleville is looking forward to creating a large, clean, fun, safe place, for our youths to burn their energy, be creative and skateboard hassle free. The location will be at West Riverside Park.

A skatepark can be a very comforting place to be when the skater's are in their own space. It also serves as a great meeting place for new and old friends to hang out, learn from each other and enjoy conversation where they will not be removed from for loitering.

In Canada within a population of a mere 30 million people there are approximately 900,000 skateboarders and this number continues to grow. Over half of them have nowhere to skate board but on the streets.
This project is a huge step for the community. Our youth will take part in the design, promotion and fundraising events to help make their dream come true.
