Breakfast Oatmeal

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring soy milk or water and salt to a boil.

  2. Stir in rolled oats, raisins, cranberries and cinnamon (if using).

  3. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered asd stirring occasionally for 3 minutes for quick-cooking or 10 minutes for old-fashioned rolled oats. Stir in vanilla (if using).

  4. Top each serving with a sprinkle of brown sugar and serve with additional soy milk or milk. Makes 2 to 3 servings.
